Emotional Signs

*Many of these signs are completely normal and adaptive while happening in stressful, abusive or traumatic situations. The goal is for the nervous system to react in protection when unsafe/distressed, and return to regulation when safety is restored. Some of these signs are also an intrinsic part of a individuals neurotype and aren't actually a sign of dysregulation.
